The project displays a fusion of sustainability with Islamic architectural elements. It features a two-story structure characterized by vibrant green accents along its façade, a hallmark of Islamic-inspired aesthetics. The arched windows and the intricately designed parapet reflect traditional Islamic design, invoking a sense of cultural heritage. The use of arches is not only decorative but also functional, as they help distribute weight more effectively across the structure.
The wide balcony on the upper floor provides shaded outdoor spaces, enhancing natural ventilation and reducing the need for mechanical cooling. The flat roof is typical in warmer climates, where it can potentially be used to capture rainwater or for installing solar panels. Adjacent to the building, a water storage tank indicates the potential for rainwater harvesting, contributing to water conservation efforts.
The landscaping around the building, combined with the permeable surfaces, assists in stormwater management by allowing water to soak into the ground, thus reducing runoff. Additionally, the greenery surrounding the property aids in controlling the microclimate, providing natural cooling through shading.
This blend of sustainable features with Islamic architectural elements creates a building that is both environmentally conscious and deeply rooted in cultural identity.
